The International® brand of trucks is very common in Australia for on road heavy transport and also in the agricultural industry. They are reliable, efficient, safe, comfortable and powerful. In 1952 US company International Harvester of America IHA began manufacturing Australia’s first locally designed and locally built truck in its Dandenong plant.
They ceased manufacturing the trucks in Australia in 2011 however they are still available – now distributed in Australia by Iveco.
